This workshop takes a new look at child development and alternative pathways for learning through the lens of twelve universal guidelines. The guidelines include topics such as The Sacred Space of Childhood, Developing Multisensory Skills, and Heartfelt Communication. Learn about the characteristics of Wisdom’s children, how to balance their energies so they can flourish, why our outdated educational system cannot meet their needs, and how parents and educators can nurture the multisensory gifts of the children who are gracing our planet with wisdom and love. This inspiring and practical workshop is for all adults who realize that humanity is at a crossroads, and we need to choose a new path. We are being given a gift in the children who represent the new man and woman, and who are pioneering a universal consciousness that seeks unity. They have an action plan guided by love, and it is up to us to help them manifest their potential and vision for global peace.
Lin Northrup, M.ED, R.H. is a holistic educator, writer, educational counselor, and specialist in meeting the needs of our gifted and highly sensitive children. She is also an Artist-in-Residence at Mattatuck Museum for inner city arts programs. Lin is a consultant to schools and organizations in the areas of creativity, stress management, and mind-body learning techniques. She founded BrainWise Learning Resources and conducts workshops for teachers, parents and children. She is a certified Youth Development Specialist with thirty years experience of working with young people.
