Stress Reduction Techniques That Work!

  1. Breathing – When we’re stressed blood vessels to the brain constrict and the brain gets less oxygen causing confusion, lack of clarity, apathy, fatigue.

Abdominal breathing (at least 3 deep breaths) Imagine there’s a balloon in your
belly. Inhale, let your belly fill with air. Hold the breath for several counts.
Exhale, letting the belly deflate. Repeat.

               2-8-4 Breathe in (2), Hold (8), Exhale (4)

               2-8-8 Breathe in (2), Hold (8), Exhale (8) 

  1. Water (90%) brain is water. The brain must be hydrated for peak performance
     and health. Body systems are electrical/chemical. Water removes toxins,
     increases memory/focus, reduces stress, increases energy.
  1.  Relaxation music to elicit the alpha state - 20 minutes daily
  1. Walking/Nature - Your lymphatic system is key to boosting your immune system.
     It is activated by movement. Nature's vibration grounds and balances our
     electromagnetic energy systems.
  1.  Sea Salt Baths - One cup sea salt in a bath - 20 minutes. Releases stress and
      toxins from your energy field.
  1.   Intuition - Tune into your intuition (inner voice) for gaining clarity about life
     decisions. As you develop more confidence in its wisdom, your vitality and inner
      peace grow.
  1.  Yoga - Opens the energy pathways and enhances your life force.
  1.   Meditation - Reconnects you to the inner peace of your true nature.
